Albanian tradition
Raki of Aquila Liquori reflects Albanian spirit-making through a clear, traditional profile, crafted to bring forward authentic character, natural warmth, and a distinctive finish rooted in local heritage.

Rakia has long been at the heart of Albanian celebrations. From national holidays and family gatherings to local festivals, it is a symbol of hospitality, tradition, and togetherness. Autumn is often called the “Season of Rakia,” as grape harvests take place across nearly every region of Albania.
Among Albania’s finest expressions of this tradition is the Aged Rakia by Aquila Liquori. Crafted from the native Shesh i Bardhë grape variety, double-distilled in traditional copper stills, then aged for 18 months in Slavonian oak and acacia barrels for delicate woody notes, a warm golden colour, and an exceptionally smooth finish.
Autumn, the harvest, and a bottle that has never left the Albanian table.

Autumn is often called the “Season of Rakia,” as grape harvests take place across nearly every region of Albania. This tradition comes to life each year through local celebrations, such as the Rakia, Wine, and Grape Festival in Dimal, celebrating the craftsmanship, heritage, and community spirit that rakia represents.
Among Albania’s finest expressions of this tradition is the Aged Rakia by Aquila Liquori. Crafted from the native Shesh i Bardhë grape variety, it offers an elegant and refined aromatic profile. Double-distilled in traditional copper stills to preserve its rich character, then aged for 18 months in Slavonian oak and acacia barrels, this careful maturation imparts delicate woody notes, a warm golden color, and an exceptionally smooth finish.
From our estate in Kashar, Tiranë, every bottle is made with the art of distilling at its heart.
